    4. How do I retrieve my Voice Mail messages from my Panasonic Voice Mail System?

    5. How do I set up a Guest Mailbox on my Panasonic Voice Mail System?

      6. How do I set up my Panasonic Voice Mail Box?
      7. What are typical Panasonic Voice Mail System greetings?

For technical answer call 877-289-2829 for immediate response.

    1. Raise the handset on any telephone in the Panasonic Telephone system.
    2. Press the "INTERCOM" button and dial 165 .
    3. When answered dial # 6 * 9 9 8 (POUND SIX NINE NINE EIGHT)
    4. Enter the Administrators Password, followed by a #. (POUND) If required.
    5. Dial 5 to "Modify Message"
    6. Dial 4 to "Change The Custom Service Menu"
    7. Enter the Custom Service Menu Number 1 to 100.

Most Panasonic Voice Mail systems will use Custom Service Menu 1 as the Day Menu and 2 as the Night Menu.
However, there are no hard and fast rules here.
When your system was initially set up, the programmer should have created several forms that show the call routing for all Custom Service Menus. If you do not have these forms call us and we can remotely access your system and create them for you.

The Panasonic Voice Mail system will actually play the Custom Service Menu to you.
At the end it will prompt you to either change the Custom Service Menu or accept it.
If you accept it, you will be returned to Step 6
If you change it, it ask you to record the new Custom Service Menu prompt.

If you are uncertain about the Custom Service Menu Administration, then please call our
office and schedule a technician to help/show you how to do it.   Any errors will cause
your system to work significantly different than you expect.

Also, if you choose to re-record a Custom Service Menu prompt     DO NOT CHANGE
the single digit numbers associated with any extension or department.

    Correct Example:

Old   Menu  - "For Tom press 1. For Tony press 2. For Sales Press 3.
New Menu  - "For Tom press 1, For Tony Parts Manager press 2. For Sales press 3.

    Incorrect Example:
Old Menu  - "For Tom press 1. For Tony press 2. For Sales Press 3.
New Menu- "For Tony press 1, For Tom press 2.  For Sales press 3.

The Custom Service Menus are very carefully programmed to follow an exact routing plan
established when your system was set up.  You may change the words associated with a
single digit to more clearly explain to a caller where the call will be transferred to.
However,  you cannot change the actual destination of the call unless the Custom Service
Menu is re-programmed by a technician.
