Panasonic KX-TA824 System Overview

and dependable system with the KX-TA824.
The Panasonic 824 is initially equipped to handle 3 incoming telephone
lines, 8 telephone extension ports and supports Caller ID. It is expandable
up to 8 incoming lines and 24 extensions.
The Panasonic KX phone system is compatible with Panasonic
Voice Mail which can provide each phone with its own voice mailbox to
take messages when a user is on the phone or unavailable. A message waiting
light will indicate when a message is left. It can also be used with your
local telephone company’s voicemail.
Panasonic Voicemail includes a built-in Auto Attendant with
daytime and nighttime greetings. It may also be programmed to have a pre-set
greeting for holidays.
The KX-TA824 is compatible with Panasonic KX-T7700 series multi-line
phones wired, KX-T7896 cordless telephone, single line telephones (SLT’s),
or industry standard cordless telephones.
The KX-TA824 business phone system can be programmed either by a
Panasonic phone, RS232 port, USB port, or even remotely via a modem.
Fully compatible with most call accounting programs like TAPIT, Comm
Soft RMS, and many others.
The Panasonic KX-TA824 is very good for home office phone systems. It
provides additional security with the Door Phones. You can speak to a
visitor from any Panasonic multi-line or cordless telephone in your home or
poolside and allow them entry from that phone by simply pushing a button. If
you have a gate, electric garage door opener or electric door release you
can have complete control over the access to your home. You can also
activate security lights with any phone with the help of an electrician.
Panasonic phone systems are compatible with Music on Hold devices
and external paging units. You may choose to have a message on hold or play
music from an outside music source.
